Regenerative Medicine
Regenerative medicine includes the use of natural cells tissue, blood components, and growth factors that are harnessed to aid in the treatment of orthopedic injuries or conditions. Regenerative medicine treatments repair lost or damaged tissue, enhance healing, stimulate regeneration and reduce pain and inflammation. Bone Marrow Aspirate Concentrate (BMAC) procedure is a promising innovative regenerative therapy used to enhance healing in certain orthopedic injuries. Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) is a non-surgical therapy that utilizes a patient’s own blood to stimulate a healing reaction within a damaged joint or tissue. Because of the growth factors in platelets, platelet-rich plasma can aid the healing process.
The field of regenerative medicine is an emerging area of interest that holds promise for treating many injuries. Dr. Witte has been practicing regenerative medicine since 2014, tracking research and advancements to pursue this treatment for the right patients. Our qualified team uses their training, experience and the latest research and evaluates your patient history and goals to develop a unique treatment plan for you.
