Since its establishment in 2016, Sano Orthopedics has been dedicated to revolutionizing musculoskeletal care delivery in Kansas City. Expanding our services beyond orthopedics, we are thrilled to introduce our new Vascular and Vein service line. Building upon the foundation of our successful orthopedic practice, we will offer comprehensive care for vascular conditions, providing tailored treatment plans that encompass both conservative, non-surgical approaches and innovative surgical techniques.

Dr. Richard (Rick) Coats will lead our new service line, a board-certified general and vascular surgeon with 20 years of experience. His dedication to patient care and exceptional surgical skills have earned him immense respect and admiration from colleagues and patients alike in the Kansas City and Lee’s Summit areas. Throughout his career, Dr. Coats has been at the forefront of advanced vascular surgery techniques and has significantly contributed to the field through research and training surgeons nationwide.

Dr. Coats will begin seeing patients in our Missouri and Kansas offices this October.
