DR. GONDER’S SPECIALTIES

Spinal Stenosis

Spinal stenosis can result from various factors like arthritis, herniated discs, thickened ligaments, or prior spinal injuries. Symptoms encompass back or neck pain, arm or leg numbness, arm or leg weakness, and issues with balance and mobility. Dr. Gonder tailors a personalized care plan based on your unique requirements, taking into account your objectives and medical history. Treatment options may involve physical therapy, non-opioid pain and inflammation relief medications, epidural steroid injections, and more.

Spinal Cord Stimulator

A spinal cord stimulator is an implanted device that uses electrical stimulation to treat chronic pain. It’s considered when other treatments like medications, injections, and therapies haven’t provided relief.

Dr. Gonder has helped many patients find relief using spinal cord stimulation.

Radiculopathy

Radiculopathy is a condition in which compression, inflammation, or damage to the spinal nerve roots. Dr. Gonder addresses both chronic and acute back pain using a range of treatments that alleviate discomfort, enhance mobility, and restore function.

Peripheral Nerve Stimulation

Peripheral nerve stimulation treats chronic pain, including low back, neck, shoulder, and knee pain. It alters pain signals in peripheral nerves, affecting both electrical and chemical pathways. This option is suitable for those seeking pain relief, whether temporarily or permanently, especially if they want to avoid joint surgery or still experience discomfort after surgery.

Trigger Point Injections

Trigger point injections are a safe and commonly used method used to treat muscle pain and spasms, particularly in the back, neck, and shoulders.

Radiofrequency Ablation

Dr. Gonder, an anesthesiologist specializing in interventional pain management, utilizes radiofrequency ablation (RFA) to effectively address chronic pain in areas like the neck, back, knee, shoulder, and hip. This procedure is an excellent option for individuals who have not found relief through conservative treatments.

Osteoarthritis

Osteoarthritis, the prevalent form of arthritis, often results in persistent discomfort, stiffness, and limited mobility that can significantly impede daily life. Dr. Gonder specializes in enhancing patients’ quality of life by employing a blend of traditional and innovative conservative therapies to alleviate pain and enhance functionality.

Cervical and Lumbosacral Epidurals

Cervical epidurals and lumbosacral epidurals are medical procedures involving the injection of medication into the epidural space of the spine. Dr. Gonder performs these procedures to provide pain relief and improve overall spinal function.

Chronic Post post-surgical pain

Dr. Morgan Gonder offers tailored, multidisciplinary approaches to alleviate discomfort, enhance recovery, and improve the overall post-operative experience.

Fibromyalgia

Fibromyalgia is a chronic pain condition characterized by widespread musculoskeletal pain, fatigue, sleep disturbances, and tenderness at specific points in the body. As a pain management physician, Dr. Gonder approaches the treatment of fibromyalgia with a multidisciplinary approach that may include: medications, physical therapy, liestyle modifications, counseling, injections, and other therapies.
