Partial Knee Replacements
When a total knee replacement is not appropriate someone may be a candidate for replacement of only one side of the knee or a partial knee replacement. Dr. Comrie can determine if someone is a candidate for partial knee replacement after an evaluation and discussion of treatment options.
Total Hip Replacements – Posterior and Anterior Approaches

Revision Total Knee Replacement

ABOUT DR. ROB COMRIE
Dr. Rob Comrie is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon practicing at Sano Orthopedics. He specializes in knee and hip conditions with a focus on joint reconstruction.
BACKGROUND
Dr. Rob Comrie specializes in knee and hip conditions focusing on total joint replacement.
Before beginning his career as a physician, Dr. Comrie obtained his Bachelor of Science and Masters of Physical Therapy degrees from the University of Missouri. During his five years as a physical therapist, he worked closely with patients recovering from a variety of musculoskeletal injuries. He became inspired by the idea of making a more profound impact on his patients’ lives and pursued a Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine at Kansas City University.
Following medical school, Dr. Comrie completed his orthopedic surgery residency through Michigan State University at McLaren Macomb Regional Medical Center outside Detroit, Michigan. He then completed a fellowship in Adult Reconstruction with the Fondren Orthopedic Group at Texas Orthopedic Hospital in Houston, Texas.
Comrie’s care philosophy revolves around understanding his patients and their needs then formulating a comprehensive treatment plan to suit them. He remains at the forefront of medical advancements, leveraging the latest literature and technology to optimize patient outcomes. Cultivating meaningful relationships with patients and their families brings him fulfillment in his surgical practice.
