AT Residency – Now Accepting Applications
Sano Orthopedics is excited to announce the formation of our Athletic Training Residency Program! Our first residents will begin in August 2021!
Our mission with this residency program is to provide the Athletic Trainer Resident a comprehensive educational program aiming to advance the skills necessary for an athletic trainer to be successful in the orthopedic physician practice setting. We aim to develop versatile and proficient healthcare providers and leaders that can meet the challenges of a modern healthcare delivery system. Our entire staff is excited about the opportunity to grow the athletic training profession, especially in the orthopedic clinic setting.
Dr. Kevin Witte, the Athletic Training Residency Medical Director, states “We are very excited to help create leaders, fine tune skills, and further the athletic training profession. Athletic trainers are extremely versatile and valuable in both the clinic and the operating room. We look forward to helping athletic trainers provide a unique service and change health care.”
