Presentation: Carpal Tunnel Syndrome & Treatments by Dr. Alex Palmer
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a common workplace injury. Technology advancements now allow carpal tunnel release to be performed in the office setting without general anesthesia.
Ultrasound-guided technology can also diagnose carpal tunnel syndrome. No EMG is needed. Fewer referrals and appointments mean faster recovery. This makes in-office carpal tunnel attractive to anyone who can’t miss work and worker’s compensation patients.
Benefits of In-Office Carpal Tunnel Release
- Immediate motion = faster return to work
- Small incision = minimal scar
- Office setting = fewer referrals, easier scheduling
- Quicker recovery = employer savings
See You There!
