Mid-America Orthopedics KC Joins Sano Orthopedics

November 1, 2021

A larger team focused on your healing

Sano and Mid-America Orthopedics KC share the same interest in bringing better musculoskeletal health to our patients. By joining Sano, MAO KC will be well-positioned to improve access to care and increase the breadth of care to our patients.

Specifically, by joining Sano, MAO patients have access to new specialists, including a Spine Surgeon, Hand Surgeon, and Hip Surgeon. In regards to access, Sano compliments MAO with its clinic locations in Lee’s Summit and Grandview. Due to proximity, Sano will merge its Overland Park clinic with the MAO Leawood office. Sano has an Ortho & Sports Urgent Care in Lee’s Summit, which is a walk-in clinic solely for acute musculoskeletal injuries. We now offer this service in Leawood, too!

By joining Sano Orthopedics, we can better achieve our mutual goal to offer the right care at the right time in the right setting.

Why do I need to complete new paperwork?

Since Mid-America Orthopedics KC is joining Sano Orthopedics, all patients legally need to review and accept Sano Orthopedics patient authorization forms to be treated. As a different organization, this authorizes your existing MAO providers to treat you as Sano providers.
