​Sano Orthopedics is pleased to introduce Dr. Matt Cullen! Dr. Cullen specializes in sports medicine, knee and shoulder care. He aligns with Sano with his desire to improve the way musculoskeletal care is delivered in KC by focusing on better outcomes and patient experience. “I’m excited to join Sano and be a part of a team that is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art orthopedic care.”

Training

Dr. Cullen is born and medically trained in Kansas City. He attended Kansas City University of Medicine & Biosciences and completed his orthopedic surgery residency in KC. He completed a sports medicine fellowship at the MedStar Orthopaedic Institute in Baltimore and Washington D.C. Working alongside professional, high school, and collegiate athletes, he assisted elite athletes as they maximized their return to sport.

Clinical Interests

His clinical interests include athletic injuries, shoulder and knee replacements, hip arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, and meniscus repair. With Sano, he plans to continue to grow a sports medicine practice treating athletes of all ages and skill levels.
