INTRODUCING DR. PALMER

WELCOME, DR. PALMER!

We are excited to introduce our newest orthopedic expert and surgeon, Dr. Alexander Palmer!  Dr. Palmer fills a much-needed specialty for Sano with his expertise in hand and wrist.  He comes to us from Dayton, Ohio, where he completed a hand fellowship at the Kettering Health Network.

“I knew Sano was a fit for me.  Its focus on innovation, patient care, and quality is a perfect fit for how I plan to grow my practice.  I’m looking forward to getting started,” says Dr. Palmer.

Dr. Palmer will see patients at all 3 of Sano Orthopedics’ clinics: Lee’s Summit, MO, Overland Park, KS, and Grandview, MO.

DR. PALMER’S BIO

Dr. Alexander Palmer grew up in Springfield, MO. He attended KCU for medical school and completed his orthopedic residency at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation South Pointe Hospital. To obtain the detail and expertise desired for hand specialization, Dr. Palmer completed a fellowship in Hand and Upper Extremity at the Kettering Health Network in Dayton. 

Dr. Palmer treats fingertip to shoulder injuries, including: 

• Fractures
• Nerve compression injuries, such as carpal tunnel and cubital tunnel syndromes
• Tendon and ligament injuries, such as tendonitis, deQuervains, trigger fingers
• Arthritis 

Dr. Palmer has a particular interest in advancing in-office procedures to provide easier, more efficient, cost-effective patient care.
