Evaluation of lengthening in reverse shoulder arthroplasty comparing X-rays and computerised tomography

Reverse shoulder replacement has become a very successful treatment option for patients suffering from rotator cuff tear arthritis among other treatments. After the procedure, the operative arm is often lengthened, and if too much lengthening occurs, injury to the nerves of the arm can follow. This article looked at measuring the lengthening either by Xray or CT scan.
