ABOUT DR. KEVIN WITTE
Dr. Kevin Witte is a fellowship-trained and board-certified orthopedic surgeon at Sano Orthopedics. He specializes in knee, shoulder, and elbow care. He has a special interest in athletic injury prevention and injuries of the throwing athlete.
A native of Windsor, MO, Dr. Witte obtained his undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He attended medical school at Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences while obtaining an MBA in Healthcare Leadership from Rockhurst University. He completed a fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, FL, working under the leadership of world-renowned orthopedic surgeon, Dr. James Andrews. During his sports medicine fellowship, he learned the latest techniques in treating knee injuries, elbow complications, and shoulder conditions in athletes of all ages. He also learned how to manage an entire sports program and the relationships between parents, teams, and coaches that coincide with that management.
Dr. Witte is an associate clinical professor of KCU and the chief of surgery at St. Luke’s South Hospital. Dr. Witte’s passions include athletic injury prevention, regenerative medicine, and injuries of the throwing athlete.
Those who know Dr. Witte will say he carries steadfast love and kindness in all he does. An avid hunter, fisherman, and overall outdoorsman, he is driven to help patients live healthy and active lifestyles.

Outside of orthopedics, Dr. Witte can be found outdoors, golfing, cheering on Mizzou athletics, or at home with his wife and three children.
Dr. Matt Daggett has established himself as a trusted orthopedic surgeon early in his career. He has over 60 clinical articles published in peer-reviewed journals, many which are in collaboration with renowned international ortho surgeons. As a private practice surgeon involved in research, the intent is in pursuit of better outcomes using latest techniques and innovation.
