Partial & Total Hip Replacement
Total hip replacement is an advanced and effective orthopedic procedure. It treats a variety of hip conditions and injuries that cause pain and decrease hip function and quality of life. Patients experiencing chronic hip pain are encouraged to schedule an appointment to determine the best path to becoming pain-free. Dr. Roberts is known for taking time to explain all treatment options, which may include partial hip replacement or total hip replacement.
Robotic Knee Replacement
Robotic knee surgery is one of the most advanced joint replacement surgeries available to patients today. The robotic arm’s job is to help the surgeon perform with greater precision. Dr. Roberts specializes in knee replacement surgeries, which includes robotic knee surgery.
Hip Arthroscopy
Dr. Tim Roberts and his staff have a unique approach to hip arthroscopy that reduces the risk of injury and improves recovery. In traditional hip arthroscopy, the leg is placed in traction for the duration of the surgery. This means the hip will be pulled away from the socket so the surgeon can insert instruments, see the entire joint, and perform the treatments needed. Dr. Roberts only places traction for the exact time needed for a repair of the labrum (less than half the time of traditional) and bring the instruments down to the joint from the outside. This results in less pain and quicker recovery. He treats all ages of patients with hip pain.
Partial and Total Knee Replacement
Typically, arthritis is the most common reason for knee replacement surgery to be performed. For those with severe joint deterioration in their knees, everyday life can be a struggle
When medication and physical therapy fails to relieve knee pain and improve range-of-motion, partial or total knee replacement surgery may be necessary. Patients of Dr. Roberts recommend his expertise and comprehensive, caring approach.
Knee Revisions
As the largest joint in the body, and one of the most complex, the knee joint plays an important role in one’s everyday life. In Knee Replacement surgery, the implants are expected to last 15+ years. After this point or due to other factors, sometimes knee revision surgery is necessary. During a knee revision procedure, an implant is replaced. With Dr. Roberts extensive training and background with treating complex knee injuries, he is able to help many patients restore function with knee revision surgery.
