BRIAN J. CALLAHAN, MSN, APRN-C, FNP-C

Brian Callahan went to Kansas City Kansas Community College and the University of Kansas for his undergraduate degree in nursing. He received his master’s degree in nursing from the University of Central Missouri.

Brian has a passion for providing high-quality care to all patient populations. His passion is serving underserved communities, and he also is very passionate about creating good relationships with patients and family.

Brian’s interest in orthopedics stems from his time working in a high-volume trauma center caring for traumatically injured patients, including orthopedic trauma. “I value seeing a patient progress from the time of injury to the time they return to the clinic and are healed; it is truly rewarding.” “I was attracted to Sano because they care about the patients and family members and offer the community excellent orthopedic care. Sano also fosters a great work environment and has an excellent team in place.” Brian is interested in all aspects of orthopedic care and would like to develop long-standing/trusting relationships with all patients and family members. Brian is a huge Kansas City sports fan and former athlete passionate about getting patients back to their best functional ability to perform at a high level.

Brian’s primary focus will be supporting our physicians and patients in the hospital and surgical settings.

Sano Orthopedics Advanced Practice Providers have experience in treating orthopedic injuries and pain.  They are typically paired with our orthopedic surgeons to help manage consistency of care. They work either in clinic and/or surgery to provide quality care for our patients.
